What is carbon window tint?
Carbon film has carbon built into it instead of metal. That gives it a true black that doesn’t turn purple or fade, and it never blocks your phone, GPS or radio.
We fit Union Carbon IR, the carbon film from Union Window Films. It keeps out 75% of infrared heat and 99.99% of UV, and comes in five shades from 5% to 50%.

How to book
What happens when you book
1Book your appointment
Call, text or send a quote with your car’s year, make and model and which windows you want tinted.
2We clean the glass and cut the film
Each window is cleaned with our deionized water, then the film is cut to the shape of your glass.
3We fit the film
Your car has the bay to itself. Most cars take about 4 hours, depending on the windows and the film.
4We check it with you
We go over every window with you before you drive away, and tell you how to look after it.

Looking after it
- Keep your windows up for 5 days so the film can cure.
- A little haze or a few small water pockets are normal while it dries.
- Clean with a soft cloth and a cleaner with no ammonia.

Carbon window tinting questions
Most cars take about 4 hours, depending on how many windows and the film you choose. We’ll give you a time when you book.
Wait 5 days. That lets the film cure. Rolling them down sooner can lift the edges.
No. Union Carbon IR has no metal in it, so your phone, GPS and radio work as normal.
No. The color comes from carbon, not dye, so it stays black and doesn’t fade to purple.
Yes. Union Carbon IR has a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty against fading, bubbling, peeling and cracking when we fit it.
Front side windows must let in 35% of light or more. The rear side windows and back window can be any shade.
Yes. We take off old film and clean the glass before the new film goes on. Tell us when you ask for your quote.
